Rodrigo Rocha Gosselin, of Mexican/French ascendance was born in Mexico city. He moved to La Paz to earn his B.S. in Marine Biology at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Sur. Falling in love with this land, he decided to make of La Paz, his home. His passion for nature has attracted him to work in several conservation projects such as the restoration of nesting grounds for the Sterna antillarum brown and studying the effects of the bottle-nose dolphins in coastal ecosystems, among others. He is one of the founders of ConCiencia Mexico A.C., dedicated to promote environmental education and civil commitment, and is the general coordinator for CASCEP, pro-conservation of La Paz’s beaches. In his efforts to share his knowledge and further continue his environmental education, he began leading educational groups in 2006.
